The average adult male human is comprised of 36 trillion cells (36,000,000,000,000) across 400 species. Females have around 27 trillion. And there is a constant reshuffling: some cells are replaced every few months, others last for life. Remarkable that something that complex could be held together in one bag of skin and bone.
